Chanute, Kansas-based PopUp Towing Products has introduced its new RV Goose Coupler for towing fifth-wheel trailers with a gooseneck hitch.
RV Gooseneck Coupler (RVGC) allows use of the tow vehicle’s bed space while towing.
Simply unbolt the existing king pin box from the fifth-wheel and bolt the RVGC in its place. A patented self-latching coupler makes for an “easy hitch and unhitch,” according to a company news release
The RVGC is a product that will allow you to pull your fifth wheel camper with a Gooseneck ball without having to bolt on an adapter. This is a one piece product that bolts onto your existing bolt holes where your king pin box is mounted. Simply unbolt your existing king pin box and install the RVGC in the same bolt holes.
The RVGC-A is the adjustable version which gives you 4 inches of adjustment down by the coupler and most trailer manufacturers have adjustable whole patterns to allow you an extra 3 inches of adjustment. Which makes the total about 7 inches of adjustment.
Two product options are available:
- RVGC-4205A: Fits Lippert frame with pin box models 1621 and 0719
- RVGC-4210A: Fits Lippert frame with pin box models 1716, 1116, and 0115
Boasting a GVWR rating of 24,000 pounds and a tongue weight rating of 6,500 pounds, the RVGC will handle just about any fifth-wheel on the market today, the company said.
Price: $723.00 + shipping/handling
