Middlebury, Indiana-based Entegra Coach, a division of Jayco, Inc., recently commemorated the production of their 1,000 motor coach with a division-wide celebration at its manufacturing plant.
Employees from the office and assembly line took time off to hear from executives including Wilbur Bontrager, chairman of the board; Derald Bontrager, CEO; and John Ganyard, general manager and vice president of the motorized division.
The employees enjoyed a catered lunch following the speeches.
“The celebration was a success. We were able to congratulate all of the members of our Entegra Coach team for reaching this milestone and encourage them to keep up the great work,” said Ganyard.
“Jayco established Entegra Coach in 2009 as its flagship motorhome division and today we have more than 150 employees. We think it’s important that we make it clear to all of them; they each play an important role in our success.”
Data from Statistical Surveys Inc. showed a 28 percent rise in year-over-year sales during May for Entegra Coach.
As a result of this growing demand for its motor coaches, Entegra Coach completed a 77,752-square-foot expansion of its manufacturing facility in July.
“The assembly line has fully moved into the new facilities and is producing more motorhomes per week than at any time in the company’s history,” added Ganyard.
