Jayco Introduces White Hawk Travel Trailer

Middlebury, Indiana-based Jayco, Inc. recently (September 13) introduced the 2012 White Hawk, the company’s newest entry into the ultra lite travel trailer market. Offering everything you expect in a traditional travel trailer, but able to be towed by most half-tons and mid-size SUVs, the Jayco White Hawk is packed with an impressive list of features and amenities, according to a company new release.

“We recognize the light weight market is more competitive today than ever before,” said Ben Johnson, Brand Manager for the White Hawk products. “The goal was to provide a unit that could be towed by most family vehicles but offers standard amenities and features not traditionally found on units in this price range. We wanted to make the entire camping experience even more enjoyable for the owner, from towing to set up to take down.”

The first noticeable difference is the spaciousness of the White Hawk. Compared to other ultra lite travel trailers on the market today, the 2012 White Hawk provides considerably more room with its deep slide outs. Each slide out is 36-inch deep adding twice the amount of expandable space than traditional light weights.

With its revolutionary blend of form and function, the 2012 White Hawk offers several unique standard features including the Chill ‘N Store outdoor baggage compartment with a 1.5 cubic foot exterior refrigerator, MaxView dinette window for extra light and comfort, Wide-Stance Tracker Axles for more stable towing, extra exterior lights for added safety and convenience, a thermal package with a heated and enclosed underbelly, and a standard premium exterior paint package.

In addition, the White Hawk’s Elite Kitchen includes recessed halogen lights, designer-inspired kitchen cabinetry, large rounded countertops, deep 60/40 acrylic sink with sink covers, decorative backsplash, 6.3 cubic foot Norcold refrigerator with external temperature adjustments and black metal door inserts, and an Atwood high-efficiency oven.

Other standard amenities include radial tires, dark tint safety glass windows, 4-inch crowned, fully-walkable roof, marine grade exterior speakers, residential style furniture and carpeting, hidden switch command/charging center, burnished cherry-stained hardwood cabinetry, ball bearing drawer guides, wood-grain accent wall paneling and dinette table, high efficiency furnace and water heater, and central air conditioning with directional and closeable vents.

Built with top-quality materials and production technique, the White Hawk will provide customers reliable resale values and peace of mind. The industry-leading, Jayco Co-Pilot Warranty offers the original purchaser a 2-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In addition, all Jayco products have been Green Certified by TRA Certification, Inc, an independent third party certification agency. Jayco products have earned top-level Certification through the use of sustainable materials, environmentally-friendly production methods, energy-efficient components, and reduction of waste.

Worth Pondering…

Travel does what good novelists also do to the life of everyday, placing it like a picture in a frame or a gem in its setting, so that the intrinsic qualities are made more clear. Travel does this with the very stuff that everyday life is made of, giving to it the sharp contour and meaning of art.
