“We reshaped the entire line to appeal to a younger demographic that is fast becoming a very important sector in the fifth-wheel marketplace.”
Heartland rolled out five new Bighorn floor plans for the 2019 model year and showcased three new Traveler models during the Elkhart RV Open House sporting completely new interior and exterior schemes along with a wide selection of features that target tech-savvy RVers.
“The Bighorn brand is Heartland’s leading luxury fifth-wheel brand,” noted Coley Brady, vice president of sales and marketing for the Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary.

2019 Bighorn fifth wheels are available in eight models with external lengths varying from 36 feet 5 inches to 42 feet 3 inches and dry weights from 12,185 pounds to 14, 335 pounds,

2019 Bighorn Traveler fifth wheels are available in seven floor plans with external lengths ranging from 35 feet 9 inches to 42 feet 7 inches and dry weights ranging from 11,925 pounds to 14,375 pounds.
Montague reported that the new 3925MLP Bighorn Traveler led Heartland’s record-setting sales on the first day of Open House, which annually draws thousands of dealers to Elkhart.
The model is an industry-first floor plan that offers a full walk-in pantry and laundry room off the kitchen equipped with full washer and dryer hook-ups and a versatile laundry tub with hot and cold water.
