Elkhart, Indiana-based Thor Motor Coach introduced two new brands of Super C motorhomes, the Omni and Magnitude, at its 9th annual Elkhart RV Open House event in Elkhart County.
These new Class C RVs are built on the Ford F-550 chassis and power comes from a PowerStroke turbo diesel 6.7 L engine providing 330 HP and 750 lb. ft. of torque, enabling 10,000 pounds of towing capacity and outfitted with a 10,000-pound trailer hitch with 7-pin round connector.
“The Omni and Magnitude have features of a Class A with the diesel power and drivability found in the proven tough F-550,” said Chris Carter, product development manager for Thor Motor Coach, in a company news release.
“We are sure these types of features are going to appeal to many in the Class C market.”
Designed with an 84-inch ceiling height and the largest overhead bunk in the market, these motorhomes feature a panoramic skylight with accompanying power shade, leatherette sofa, LED ceiling lighting, leatherette Dream Dinette booth with cup holders, and manual roller shades.
