Travel Lite RV Launches First Full-Size Towable, 2020 EVOKE

Syracuse, Indiana-based Travel Lite RV entered the full-size towable RV market with the launch of its 2020 EVOKE travel trailer line.

The EVOKE has private jet-inspired interiors wrapped in sleek and stealthy exteriors.

About 100 representatives from dealers around the country left the First Annual Travel Lite Open House Week Kickoff last Sunday (September 23, 2018) gushing with praise for the manufacturer’s new Evoke full-size travel trailer, according to a company news release.

Evoke set the bar high for the first trailer to be unveiled at Open House. The trailer bears little resemblance to anything on the market. From the three matte exterior finishes to the curved interior cabinetry and exclusive Duralux vinyl flooring and true king-size bed, Evoke can easily be called the travel trailer for the next generation.

“I call it New York City apartment chic,” said Travel Lite President Dustin Johns.

Earlier in the evening, the dealers at the exclusive, invitation-only event got a tour of Travel Lite’s new production facility near the intersection of County Roads 6 and 13.

After the tour of the factory, the dealers were invited to Johns’ house for entertainment and steak and lobster dinner where the Evoke was unveiled. VIP guests were welcomed to a full bar in his private exhibition garage.

Johns plans to make this an annual event.

Johns said it was important for the dealers to see not only the expanded size of the factory (now 60,000 square feet), but also to see that there is additional acreage next to the new facility for additional expansion if dealers see the value in Travel Lite’s new products and increase demand for the products.

“This is the culmination of 20 years,” he said.

“My dad took it from one level to another and we’ve taken it to a whole other level now. This product is just one more step—a huge leap—in the right direction. Anybody who knows me knows that I don’t like to play it safe. But I’m not going to play it stupid, either. This is an educated step.”

The Evoke is currently available in four floor plans—Model B, Model C, Model L, and Model T.

Johns also promised that there will be an Evoke line of fifth wheels debuting in March.
