Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries announces the introduction of the new Intent Class A Gas motorhome.
The Intent made its debut at the annual Elkhart County RV Open House, September 18 to 22.
The all-new Winnebago Intent delivers the latest engineering and design principles from Winnebago in a full-featured Class A coach at a price that will meet a discerning budget.
From the moment you step inside, you’ll realize the Intent is different. Narrow corner pillars in the cab offer incredible views and enhance safety, thanks to better visibility while driving.
“The Intent is styled smartly, supremely functional, and provides tremendous quality,” said Niles Whitehouse, director of product management.
“This product is the result of many hours of listening to Winnebago dealers and consumers in order to see what an ideal RV experience could be. We then collected that input and gathered the best engineers, designers, and craftsmen to set a new standard for what a Class A gas motorhome should be.”
Complete with an abundance of storage space and an attractive dining and lounge area, the Intent is available in four fresh floor plans.
Step outside and enjoy the well-appointed Tailgate Package under an easy-to-use powered patio awning. Refill or exchange LP cylinders without driving the motorhome to a filling station.
Take advantage of the powered StudioLoft bed above the cab that can be deployed for additional sleeping space.
A step into the cab will reveal enhanced visibility which can be attributed to narrow corner pillars and a large windshield.
The Intent makes it easy to make yourself at home in the cab, thanks to comfortable seats which feature adjustable armrests, fixed lumbar support, and multi-adjustable slide/recline/swivel functions.
The included Radio/Rearview Monitor System with 6.2-inch LCD color touch screen, rear color camera, and Bluetooth capability, plus power mirrors with defrost, make piloting the Intent even easier and more enjoyable.
Dual-mode climate control, and dash workstation with USB and 12-volt power supply are also standard equipment on every Intent, as is the powered MCD blackout front shade to enhance your privacy while in camp.
A full-wall slide out or double slide outs expands the lounge area and adds useful living space to each of the four Intent floor plans. The comfortable dinette (26M) or dinette and sofa bed provide comfortable seating for meals, games, or enjoying a movie on the satellite-system-ready HDTV. On all floor plans, swivel cab seats, plus the multi-position cab table, provide additional seating options for family and friends.
The standard three-burner range with oven and touch-controlled microwave make feeding the troops a breeze in the Intent.
Attractive laminate countertops with decorative backsplash are ideal for food prep, while the stainless-steel double sink helps make cleanup a snap.
And every Intent features a pantry for convenient storage, as well as a powered roof ventilator fan to keep the air flowing and fresh.
Sleep options abound on the Intent. The private rear bedroom serves as a comfortable sanctuary with walk-around queen bed, plus a HDTV for winding down at the end of a busy day. The available powered StudioLoft Bed above the cab, bunk beds (31P), and convertible dinettes and sofa beds provide additional sleeping capacity on every floor plan.
Every Intent also features a spacious separate shower with flexible showerhead and textured glass door—a place to relax while washing up after the day’s adventures.
Other features include a Smart LP System that provides two easily removable 20-pound LP cylinders that can be refilled without driving the motorhome to a filling station and a standard tailgate package under a large patio awning offering a TV, refrigerator, countertop, sink/faucet, storage bin and drawer, pull-out extension table, towel holder, and bottle opener.
