Leisure Travel Vans/Triple E Introduce Ambassador Rewards Program

Winkler, Manitoba-based Leisure Travel Vans and Triple E RV introduced a new ambassador rewards program that gives cash to current owners who refer new customers to the company’s brands.

RVers who own a Leisure Travel Van or Triple E RV, and wish to promote their RV brand and the RV lifestyle, may sign up to join the company’s Ambassador Rewards Program.

Upon signing up for the program, RVers will receive an intro kit which includes product brochures of their specific model as well as a number of owner referral cards. These cards will have space for owners to fill in their information. They are intended to be given out anytime the owner shows off his or her recreational vehicle.

For each referral that ends up purchasing a new Leisure Travel Van or Triple E RV and gives the current owner credit for the referral, he or she will receive a reward as a token of the company’s appreciation.

In cases where multiple referral cards are handed to the potential customer, the referral that first took place will receive the reward.

Most of these interactions will happen as current owners are out and about on their travels.

However, from time to time, the company may phone a current owner if there is a potential customer in their area and there is no dealer with stock nearby. There is no obligation, but the current owner could receive credit for displaying their unit to a prospective buyer, the company noted in a news release.

Ambassadors earn the following rewards:

  • First or second purchasing customer = $250 per referral
  • Third or fourth purchasing customer = $500 per referral
  • Fifth purchasing customer = $500 plus two Leisure Travel Van or Triple E RV jackets
  • Sixth or more purchasing customer = $500 per referral

Referrals are cumulative and do not reset at the start of a new year.

Best of all, current customers who sign up to be ambassadors can receive $500 when they upgrade their RVs to another Leisure Travel Van or Triple E RV. It’s like referring yourself, the company noted.

Pilot Flying J Launches New MyRewards Loyalty Program

Knoxville, Tennessee-based Pilot Flying J announced yesterday (March 16) it will launch its new MyRewards loyalty program this spring.

The MyRewards program has a card for every customer: RV customers, professional drivers, and now for preferred fuel customers as well.

MyRewards members are eligible for in-store retail and restaurant discounts.

MyRewards for the RV customer will offer discounts on fuel and dumping fees. Professional drivers will accumulate shower credits and points for purchasing fuel that are redeemable for in-store merchandise and food.

Customers can find their MyRewards account details on customer receipts, at the in-store kiosk or on the Pilot Flying J website.

“MyRewards allows us to tailor rewards and benefits that best fit our customers’ needs and wants,” said Jimmy Haslam, CEO of Pilot Flying J.

“As the driver-driven company, serving our customers is always our top priority, and we wanted to make it easy for them to simply ‘join, drive and save.’ That’s how the MyRewards loyalty program works.”

Customers can pick up a MyRewards loyalty card at any participating Pilot or Flying J location and register it online, with the store cashier, or at the store kiosk.

Professional drivers and RV owners who have a Driver Payback or Frequent Fueler Advantage card are not required to get a new loyalty card or re-register.

As part of the launch, each customer will have a chance to win $10,000 in the “Trace Adkins Ride for Rewards” cash giveaway.

Adkins, the country music star and new Pilot Flying J spokesperson, said he is proud to represent Pilot Flying J’s new rewards program for customers because it’s all about loyalty.

“Loyalty is important to me, my fans and the hardworking Americans out there who know the value of a dollar and who appreciate a company that values its customers like Pilot Flying J does,” Adkins said.
