Now you can enjoy all the comforts of a full sized trailer but in a super-affordable, easy to tow package.
Weighing less than 3,000 pounds and luxuriously equipped, the new Keystone Passport ROV lightweight travel trailer delivers a host of features including a front window to fill the interior with natural light.
“We know from talking with consumers and our dealers that there is a huge, underserved market,” said Passport Product Manager Ryan Shuff in a news release.
“This could be tens-of-thousands of people. Many are individuals who have tent camped or camped with their parents but feel an RV is not in their plans because they do not have a large truck or tow vehicle, or that the price is out of reach. ROV provides our dealers with an opportunity to reach out to these buyers with a high-quality camper that is both easily towable and extremely affordable.”
In addition, Passport ROV offers a fully equipped kitchen with convection microwave, bath, HD TV, roof air conditioning, larger holding tanks, power tongue jack, and Thule patio awning.
The dinette in the slide-room of the ROV 170RKRV also doubles as an extra bed while the integrated hitch-receiver will pair with a number of different racks to haul bicycles, kayaks, or additional cargo.
Towing is easier and more car-like, due in part to the 6-and-a-half foot wide body on 8-foot axles which means that the driver can easily see behind the coach without the use of extension mirrors.
With an unusual shape, clean graphics, wide-track axle, and front windshield, ROV stands apart.
Interiors feature higher-end fabrics, plush upholstery, larger TVs, and expansive seating, and sleeping areas.
“Our goal was to make the ROV feel like a large, luxury coach in a very attractive, smaller package that can be towed by customers driving smaller SUVs, crossover vehicles, or mid-sized trucks,” said Shuff.
Passport ROV is currently offered in two floor plans, the 170RKRV and the 173RBRV, with two additional models coming soon.
Passport ROV appliances and equipment include a 3-way 3 cubic foot refrigerator, two-burner cook top, gas/electric DSI hot water heater, Thetford toilet, 55 amp converter with charger, USB charging port, and 20,000 BTU furnace.
Interior features include AM/FM//CD/DVD stereo with bluetooth, 6-foot 6-inch interior height, wet bath with integrated toilet and sink, gray shaker style cabinetry, and bathroom pocket organizers.
ROV exterior features include two tone gel coated fiberglass, seamless fiberglass roof, 20 pound LP gas with hard cover, folding grab handle, entry door step, black tank flush, TV antenna, outside speakers, and Schwintek slide out system.
A convenience package is available and includes outdoor shower, go power charging port, LED lighting, EZ glide dinette table, recessed cook top with glass cover, LP quick disconnect, and friction hinged entrance door.
Popular features include the large 30-35 gallon holding tanks, independent torsion axle, tinted safety glass windows, 3-speed Maxxair fan, the four scissor-stabilizer jacks, detachable power cord, and black tank flush.
