In addition, RV buyers have made Keystone Cougar number one in its class for nine straight years.

“We give tremendous credit to our dealers for helping us achieve this milestone. Faced with challenging weather conditions this spring, Cougar dealers came through in a big way,” said Jeff Kloska, Cougar brand manager, in a news release.

“This speaks volumes about our dealers’ commitment to the Cougar brand.  I can’t thank them enough.”

“Business has been very good for Capitol RV, due in large part to Cougar,” said Rod Klinner, sales manager for Capitol RV with outlets in Bismark and Minot, North Dakota.

“The product looks great, offers unheard of features, and is available in a number of price points to appeal to a broad range of customers. If I could have only one brand on my lot, it would be the Keystone Cougar.”

In addition to strong dealer support, Kloska cites Cougar’s updated product offerings for helping to set records.

“Consumer enthusiasm for our High Country package, the addition of six new floor plans, and the introduction of our industry-first 338PAT rear patio deck model have created an on-going buzz for Cougar,” he said.

“Couple this with exclusive Cougar features like four-point automatic leveling, patented Hitch Vision front cap, and Platinum Series Ortho-Pedic Sleep System, and Cougar is definitely on a roll. We hope to continue this winning streak for many months to come. Fortunately, our production facilities in Goshen and Pendleton, Oregon, are more than capable of meeting demand.”

Keystone RV Company Cougar division recently introduced its ninth new floor plan in recent months with the launch of the new 338PAT featuring an “industry-first party deck” for the mid-profile fifth-wheel segment.

The spring-assisted ramp easily opens to create an 8-foot-by-11-foot party area equipped with 40-inch TV and entertainment center, outdoor refrigerator, storage, second awning, and side rails. The 3-foot area immediately inside the deck can be used to store bicycles, camping gear or other bulky items when in transport.

The Cougar division includes Cougar, Cougar Xlite, and Cougar Half Ton travel trailers and fifth-wheels.

The RV industry as a whole also experienced a record-setting month. According to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), May shipment totals were the best for May in eight years and the best overall monthly total since March 2007.

Worth Pondering…

Your road is everything that a road ought to be…

And yet you will not stay in it half a mile, for the reason that little, seductive, mysterious roads are always branching out from it on either hand, and as these curve sharply also and hide what is beyond, you cannot resist the temptation to desert your own chosen road and explore them.
