2014 American Eagle Features New High-Tech Electronics

American Coach, a division of Allied Recreation Group, unveiled several new technologies in home entertainment during the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) 51st Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky, December 3-5.

The electronics will be featured on the new American Eagle 45A floor plan, which includes opposing sofas for more comfortable entertaining.

A bath and a half, large full-tile spa shower, and full-length rear wardrobe add to the comfort and convenience of the American Eagle 45A, which has a base MSRP of $621,000.

American Coach is the first manufacturer to offer a Sony 4K Ultra High Definition TV, according to a company news release.

Sony 4K Ultra technology provides a resolution that is four times clearer than HD and is comparable to “combining the resolution of four HDTVs into one.”

Owners will see a wider range of colors with Sony’s Triluminos Display, and TV programs will be upscaled to 4K quality.

A 55-inch version of the TV is installed in a quiet-lift cabinet with custom surround cabinetry for a premium look. Combined with a Sony 7.1 home theatre using Bose speakers, the 4K Ultra High Definition TV creates a movie theater-quality entertainment experience.

American Coach has also partnered with JBL by Harman to create a high-tech custom audio package for the cockpit of the American Eagle.

The JBL system is engineered exclusively for the American Eagle, providing a custom-tailored and digitally optimized audio solution that delivers a superior listening experience, according to the news release.

“American Coach is known for its leading innovation, technology, and distinction in the industry,” stated Kyle McCrary, senior vice president, product planning and design at American Coach.

“Partnering with Sony and JBL was a natural fit for the American Coach brand. We remain committed to incorporating advanced technology and highly innovative designs into our products.”
