Growing numbers of RVers are working as they travel across America.
And many of them are workampers, people who work part time handling maintenance, clerical, or marketing functions for weeks or months at campgrounds that are located in places they’ve always wanted to visit, according to a Workamper News Inc. news release.
Workamper Discovery Days: RV Education Rally
The workcamping lifestyle will be highlighted November 2–3 during Workamper Discovery Days at Shadow Hills RV Resort in Indio, California.
Workamper News Inc., a newspaper that provides classified listings of workamper jobs across North America, is conducting a series of seminars and workshops that will cover everything from RV maintenance to the ins and outs of workamping.
“This is the first time Workamper News has offered seminars like this in the Western U.S.,” said Shadow Hills RV Resort co-owner Paula Turner, who uses workampers during the winter snowbird season.
