ElkRidge by Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC continues to target the heart of the growing half-ton towable market by upgrading and expanding its mid-profile fifth-wheel line with the addition of an all-new Xtreme Lite Edition and a distinctive Pearl-colored exterior.
The Xtreme Light series is built with an all-aluminum superstructure and all-new, cutting-edge construction techniques to save weight for today’s new trucks.
“Consumers continue to migrate toward trailers that can be towed by smaller vehicles,” said Heartland President Chris Hermon, in a company news release.
“Our goal was to bring to market a line of mid-profile fifth wheels that combine lightweight laminated construction with the types of amenities buyers are demanding at a price point that distinguishes ElkRidge as a value line for dealers.”
“With the ElkRidge Xtreme Light, RVers can purchase a full-featured lightweight fifth-wheel at a travel trailer price, said General Manager Bryan Walczak.”
The Pearl Exterior Package offers high-end automotive styling with rich, cream-colored sidewalls, a painted front cap and high-gloss, and gel-coat fiberglass exterior.
The upgrade package is available on all ElkRidge models and will be prominently displayed during the September 17-19 Elkhart County RV Open House at the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
“The Pearl color, coupled with the front cap and gel-coat finish, creates a very finished look that is unique in the marketplace,” said Walczak.
“It’s a feature that will stand out on dealers’ lots, grabbing consumers’ attention and providing a profitable step-up for salespeople. It is a full-body paint look, without the full-body paint price.”
“We expect ElkRidge to be a huge success at the upcoming Open House,” said Hermon.
“The next six to 12 months will be great as dealers and customers will see how we are taking this product to the next level. I’m looking for ElkRidge to climb the stats and join our other three Top 10 fifth-wheel brands.”
Heartland’s ElkRidge will be showing three new floor plans at the Open House with nine configurations ranging from 26 to 34 feet and MSRPs starting at $27,000.
“The ElkRidge is another example of Heartland staying in front of the competition and continuing to hit those hot button sectors of the market with something that stands tall against the competition,” Walczak said.
