“The strength of the Winslow line is in the 31-foot range,” said Bryan Tillett, president of the Smith Center, Kan., towable manufacturer. ”A lot of our buyers are getting older in years, but they still want to full-time or at least be winter snowbirds. They can have a 31-footer that has almost everything that they had in their bigger coach.”

The all-season gel coat fiberglass-and-wood Excel Winslow series offers 12 fifth-wheel and three travel trailer floor plans in 28- to 37-foot lengths.

With a $67,130 base MSRP, the triple-slide Winslow D311KE layout has a 32-inch-by-48-inch walk-in shower with a seat and dual kitchen sinks in an island that sits opposite a three-burner range.

Worth Pondering…

Your travel life has the essence of a dream.

It is something outside the normal, yet you are in it.

It is peopled with characters you have never seen before and in all probability will never see again.

It brings occasional homesickness, and loneliness, and pangs of longing.

But you are like the Vikings or the master mariners of the Elizabethan age, who have gone into a world of adventure, and home is not home until you return.
